Clarke County Democrats will have a float in the
July 4th parade. The parade will begin at 11:00 a.m. This is Osceola's
largest celebration of the year with thousands coming "home" to Clarke
County. Terrible's Lakeside Casino will have fireworks that evening, it
should be quite a show. We hope to see you there.
There will be a THURSDAY IN THE PARK in Osceola
July 27, 2006 from 5:30 until we are done. Currently Joyce Schulte, Denise
O'Brien, Mike Mauro, Mike Reasoner, have committed to attending. Our local
candidates, Recorder Pennie Gonseth, County Supervisor Terry Robins, and
County Attorney Ron Wheeler will attend and help host the event. Food and
entertainment will be available. If you liked the food at the District
Convention, you ain't seen nothin' yet! And best of all admission is free!
See you on the Square at the Rotary Bandstand July 27th and bring a
