Welcome to the new blog of the 5th District Democrats. We decided to call it "The Left Coast of Iowa" because, well, we're the left coast of Iowa (and there are a bunch of left-leaning liberal types out here in western Iowa.)
Several good writers have been invited to write regular features for this blog, and if you want to become a regular contributor, just write webmaster@idp5.org and tell us why you should be given 'author status.'
And of cours, anybody can leave comments (even anonymous comments) about any posting on the blog.

At last, after four years of intranacine civil war, Southwest Iowa once again has the 21st Century version of the Underground Railroad. So long as there are people who are willing to risk their Freedom to help others to speak, and live, and be free, there is still hope for our Nation. You are among the best of all Patriots who will rescue America from the incredibly greedy and lying criminals who have disgraced us and metamorphosed our Nation into "...the Land of deceit, and the Home of depraved!"

Is this the start of blogs for Iowa Dems in each district? Yuor address of idp5 made me wonder.
If not, how can we get a statewide blog going at IDP somewhere?
